Brandon felt something was different in his ankle last week. He did a tough workout at physical therapy and he'd been hurting a little. He went to see the surgeon to have it checked. So, last week on his 39th birthday this is what they found... The 2 big screws had broken during his workout. The surgeon says things are still holding in place, specifically the grafted in tendons. That is the important part. So for now we leave it and continue on. Apparently not many people are tough enough to break the screws. Most have them removed as a whole. Most likely the apex of the 2 big screws will remain for life, the head of these screws may be taken out at some point.

Holy Cow! Talk about a long and weird recovery from the original injury. The drama just keeps coming! Sorry to hear about the latest. Hopefully it will continue to get better not digress from this new development.
