While walking along the mountain side in Utah this fall, Mitchell pointed to the hillside and described aerial perspective from the artist's standpoint. He showed me the real life example on the mountain and pointed out how the landscape did exactly what his art teacher was teaching him. With his understanding of this project, it's nice that his artwork showing this perspective was chosen for the school district's biggest showcase of elementary art.
He chose to do a desert landscape.
He changed his mind at the last minute.
So Alex Keaton.

Love the artwork! Love that boy! Loved Alex Keaton!
Great artwork, Mitchell! Wesley had artwork in that exhibit last year, too! You look great in your polo (and probably fit right in!!!).
Great art work, Mitchel. I am inspired. I want to do something like that, now. Uhhh, who's Alex Keaton?
You forgot the P.
Alex "P." Keaton.
And Mitchell is way cuter.
Look at that handsome devil. Most impressive art Mitchell. Great job!
What a handsome guy! You've got the best lookin' kids! And the smartest, most talented ones too. Gosh I wonder where they get all that from... It's hard not to be cool with parents like theirs. Glad Brandon's able to get up and about a bit now too.
The talent just oozes from you people! Oh, and better Alex Keaton than Ferris Buehler or Duckie. Ok, I'll stop now.
I am so impressed with the offspring!! They are just stellar in every arena!! I totally forgot who Alex Keaton was. (Thanks to Vern for the P, it brought it all back.) Mitchell rocks Alex's world.
Wow, what a great job! You have a lot of talent, Mitchell! I like your blog, Bethany. You have great kids!
