Oh give me a home...

Our excursion to Antelope Island Children burying each other in sand
Cousins etching names in sand so they may become "fossilized forever"

Mom and Sis intent on capturing the moment...
But they were capturing 2 different moments while I captured this moment

We had the whole beach to ourselves

One of the many "Beastie Boys"

Summed up: fun autumn day on the island

What adorable children! That looks fun...but cold. I have lived here my whole life and never visited Antelope Island. I have always wanted to, just never gotten around to it. I wish we could get together for a reunion so we could all see each other again. It has been so long.

Yep, fun day. It wasn't that cold, but windy. I could spend the whole day on that island.

We've spent alot of time out on Antelope Island through every season! It's a fun place to go... I am so embarrassed for my poor sister who rarely roams!! Half of my family didn't even know where Mountain Green was when I said we were moving there!! We live by the philosophy of 'if we are going somewhere... let's take the long way aka... a road we have never been on before!' ATleast that's my husbands view, so we've seen a lot of Utah! And Texas!!

wow that looks like a lot of fun. The picture you took of your mom and sister is great haha. I'm ashamed to admit it, but I've never heard of Antelope Island. I googled it though and I'm guessing it's the same one as Antelope Island State Park?

OK. Now I don't feel so bad for never having been there before now. And yes! I could definitely spend more time there. So glad you and the kids came for a visit. Next time we are having lunch with Sheri & Julie!

There's a BEACH at Antelope Island? Apparently I need to explore my homeland a little more. I love all the photos- but the "capturing" is my fave. It looks like some serious stuff is going on . . .look at the concentration on those faces!
