Something Fishy

Our dear friends moved to Washington. (sniff sniff) They left behind an incredibly beautiful yard. As they were leaving town. Michelle mentioned that they never got any photos of their yard. I offered to go take some and email them. I then got the brilliant idea to take my children over and take photos of them in the beauty. The children had a different idea...
" I don't like my hair curled, it is too big."
" I want my hair combed straight forward, not to the side."
"Do I have to wear that shirt?"
"Mitchell, please scoot closer to Kass."
"I don't want to sit by Kass."
"Please scoot closer to each other."
"Ouch, he is sitting on my hand!"
"Get off me!"
"Get your hair out of my face."
After some time doing this back and forth...

Kassidy got tired of it all and pushed Mitchell into the pretty pond.

Photo session ended.

I didn't even get a photo of Mitchell in the pond

due to the tears and "There's a fish in my shoe!!!"

How funny! You still got some really cute pictures, even with a total lack of cooperation!

Suddenly I feel so much better about my kids and their photographing aversion! But we keep trying!!

I love that she pushed him in the pond. Classic brother/sister moment.

LOL! Giggle, giggle. What a great memory you captured even if it wasn't the one you started out trying to get. Beautiful yard. Great kids. Fun blog.

Oh, lets go there when we visit next. Maybe Mitch just needs to learn to fish. I am so glad that my children don't do that. YET!!!

Right now the arguement is, "No, I want to be the princess."

I really would have liked to have seen that. It's good to know that even your great kids are difficult sometimes. gives me hope for the future!
