Aloha Post #2

This was one incredible adventure. We hiked to a waterfall. It was beautiful jungly forest. It was lush and wet and amazing.
Kassidy and Mitch thought it was quite the fairytale forest.
One of our greatest adventures was the snorkeling we got to do.

Here go the boys to find ocean critters.

Below is Kassidy and Mitch snorkeling together. One of my favorite memories will be seeing them snorkel together holding hands out in the ocean. Loved It!
We saw tons of colorful ocean fish, sea turtles, barricudas and even a moray eel.
The best thing we did to prepare for this trip was to get them their own snorkeling gear last spring and then they spent the summer at the pool getting used to it.
Then the ocean wasn't too scary. Just fun.
And yes, I snorkeled also.


Below is one beach we visited. If you look closely Brandon is sitting on the beach and the kids are playing in the water. I took this to show how we had the huge beach all to ourselves.

Here we are at a great beach for spotting sea turtles. Yes, that is the big thing in the water.
Brandon swam along side the big creatures. This one is huge, bigger than my hubby.
There were quite a few at this beach and quite fun to see this close.
