Beautiful Colorado

Last week we had a fun filled day. We went to see the Royal Gorge Bridge. It is the highest suspension bridge in the world. We rode the longest single span aerial tram across the gorge, enjoyed the petting zoo, herds of elk, buffalo and big horn sheep, rode the world's steepest incline railway down to the bottom of the canyon, walked across the suspension bridge, and had a great time. We also enjoyed watching all the rafters on the Arkansas River. That section of rafting is "helmet required" class V. We recommend this day trip to our Colorado neighbors who have not yet seen it.
Here we are in front of the water clock.
We took this photo of the bridge from the tram ride.
Below, we just need a construction worker and we have reunited the Village People.
This photo below was taken of the tram from the bottom of the canyon.
Can you see the little dot in the sky?

Our kids loved everything about this place. What a fun time! Next time we want to take the helicopter ride over it. Those pilots were diving, hovering, spinning, inverting..... CRAZY!

Ditto! Looks like quite a fun adventure. And the bridge looks dangerous, to me anyway. Yikes.

I went there when I was little and I remember being afraid on the bridge - looking down through the gaps!

LOVED the Village People picture!!!
