No, not a spiritual metaphor.
This is our pet leopard gecko, named Zion.
She is about 8 inches long now. When we got her in February she was about 2-3 inches long.
We can tell when she is going to shed because she gets really gray.
Then she sheds and eats her old skin. mmmm.
We are thinking about trying to hook her up with Sommerfelds gecko and see what happens. Could be fun.

Woah! That's crazy! She eats her own skin! How do you hook up a gecko?
Whoa! Gecko on the get go.
That's kinda gross. Just a little bit.
How did I NOT know you owned a gecko!? So very cool Price family...
Leopard geckos rock. We've got one at the place I volunteer for. Her name's "City-of-Enoch". Just kidding. Cool stuff.
Very cool Gecko. And very cool choice of tunes once again. That would be one big hair ball if Milo ate everything he shed.
Gecko hook-ups are available in most quality pet stores. They come in a variety of sizes, colors, and lengths. They are measured in voltage, so avoid the 220v European versions.
How territorial are they? When a newcomer "invades" their territory, do they tend to become defensive? Or does it depend of gender?
@CB...LOL.
